SCHOOL AND CHURCH YOUTH LEADERSHIP PROGRAM

iChoose was designed to provide students with an environment for leadership values to be introduced, practiced, and shared. Each lesson on values follows a pattern designed to help everyone participate and accept the choice of developing each value in their own lives.

The 21 Indispensable Qualities of a Leader is designed to prepare Youth with leadership abilities for success in all that they pursue, in and beyond school. This program teaches Youth to build personal qualities to take responsibility for themselves and their actions, express themselves, handle problems and decisions when they arise, and lead themselves first.

When you live each day with intentionality, there’s almost no limit to what you can do. You can transform yourself, your family, your community, and your nation. When enough people do that, they can change the world. When you intentionally use your everyday life to bring about positive change in the lives of others, you begin to live a life that matters.

This course will empower youth to develop the mindset, actions, and practices to form lifelong habits for growth in key areas of their lives. Practical applications will be proposed at the end of each session to be put into practice during the following week. Each student will have another student as an accountability partner to support each other during the course.

If you’re like most people, you’ve suffered some loss in your life. This uniquely designed program helps teens learn from it. Sessions take a deeper look at how participants can turn losses into opportunities. Losing does not make you a loser. Although a loss can be devastating, it doesn’t have to be destructive.

Connecting is the ability to identify with people and relate to them in a way that increases your influence with them, and the ability to communicate and connect with others is a major determining factor in reaching your potential. To be successful, you must work with others. To do that at your absolute best, you must learn to connect.

Based on John Maxwell's best-selling title Developing the Leader Within You, Leading from the Lockers offers tweens the tools they need to develop as leaders before reaching high school or college. Leadership takes many forms, and today kids are assuming roles as leaders in school, on their sports teams, in church youth groups and as peer mentors.
